7x 2026 Bright Ideas Seven Coin Collection $1 & $2 - Carded Privy Mark Set Mintage: 15,000

Product Description

Celebrate Australian ingenuity with the 2026 Bright Ideas Seven Coin Collection from the Royal Australian Mint. Bringing together seven Australian $1 and $2 coins in a carded presentation set, this collection makes a distinctive addition to any modern Australian coin collection.

The standout inclusion is the coloured $1 Black Box Flight Recorder coin featuring the “Light Bulb” privy mark. Its bright orange design celebrates the invention developed by Australian scientist Dr David Warren in 1953, which transformed aviation safety around the world.

The collection explores five Australian inventions: the stump jump plough, black box flight recorder, jaffle maker, baby safety capsule and wireless LAN technology. Together, these designs celebrate Australian achievements across agriculture, aviation, everyday living and communications.

Presented in its original Bright Ideas cards and collection packaging, this seven-coin set combines detailed coin designs with an engaging Australian theme. A memorable gift for collectors, aviation enthusiasts and anyone fascinated by the inventions that changed our world.
