This coin means a lot to me. For people who weren’t recognized as people, and even later until they were seen as citizens of Australia. They still served a country they couldn’t fully be a part of. They fought and died alongside their countrymen in a country that struggled to accept them. If for no other reason, this is a coin I’m happy to have and hold on to.
