Its reverse depicts an Australian First World War soldier, or “digger”, against a printed historical image of Anzac Cove. The design also features the inscription “GALLIPOLI 1915” and The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark.

The obverse carries the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the coin’s $1 denomination.
