2008 Baby Coin Magic Pudding Proof Set – Mintage: 15,500

The 2008 Royal Australian Mint Baby Proof Coin Set celebrates Norman Lindsay’s The Magic Pudding. It features six standard Australian coin designs—5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2—struck in proof finish, plus a Magic Pudding character medallion that can be personalised.

The Mint described this as the only 2008 proof set containing all six standard circulating coin designs. It was also the final year of the Magic Pudding Baby Set theme. The special Norman Lindsay $1 coin belongs to the uncirculated Baby Set; this proof set has the standard $1 design.

Mintage: 15,500 sets produced across the Mint’s annual reports. The original mintage limit was unlimited.
