2007 $1 Bounding Kangaroos PNC - Mintage: 37,100

Product Description

Celebrate an iconic Australian coin design with the 2007 $1 Bounding Kangaroos PNC. This joint release from Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint pairs an uncirculated dollar coin with a matching kangaroo-themed stamp.

The coin features Stuart Devlin’s familiar five-kangaroo design, affectionately known as the “Mob of Roos”. The 2007 date is particularly interesting for collectors, as this standard kangaroo dollar was issued in collector products rather than released into general circulation.

The illustrated postal numismatic cover includes a kangaroo stamp cancelled at Kangaroo Ground, Victoria 3097, on 3 December 2007. An internal information card holds the coin and completes this Australian wildlife-themed presentation.

With 37,100 PNCs issued, the Bounding Kangaroos release makes an appealing addition to an Australian $1 date collection or Australia Post stamp and coin cover collection. Available from All Things Minted.
