Own a striking piece of Australian history with the 2004 $5 Eureka Stockade 150th Anniversary Postal Numismatic Cover, released to commemorate 150 years since the Eureka Stockade uprising in Ballarat, Victoria.

This official PNC features a specially struck 2004 $5 coloured uncirculated coin issued by The Perth Mint, paired with two Australia Post Eureka Stockade stamps. The cover includes a 50c Eureka Stockade stamp and a $2.45 stamp featuring Peter Lalor, the leader of the diggers’ rebellion. The stamps were postmarked with a First Day of Issue cancellation dated 29 June 2004, Ballarat VIC 3350.

The coin design features a powerful Eureka Stockade theme, with the reverse showing a hand holding a gold nugget and the Eureka flag in full colour. This makes it a standout collectible for Australian history lovers, PNC collectors, Perth Mint collectors and anyone building a collection of modern Australian commemorative releases.

With a reported limited mintage of 62,250, this is also a notable release because it is recognised as the first Australia Post PNC to include a coin struck by The Perth Mint.
