1x UNC 2004 25c Colorised Canadian Red Poppy - INTERNATIONAL Mintage: 28,972,000

Product Description
Add a world first to your collection with the 2004 Canadian Red Poppy 25c Colourised Coin in uncirculated condition. Issued by the Royal Canadian Mint, this historic Canadian quarter became the world’s first coloured coin released into general circulation.

Designed by Cosme Saffioti, the coin features a striking red poppy within a maple leaf, accompanied by the bilingual remembrance inscription “REMEMBER / SOUVENIR”. The design honours Canada’s fallen service members and veterans, making it a meaningful addition to any remembrance, military or international coin collection.

With a reported mintage of 28,972,000, this issue represents an important milestone in modern coin production. Its innovative colour application earned it the Most Innovative Circulation Coin award at the 2006 Mint Directors’ Conference.

You will receive one 2004 Canadian Red Poppy 25-cent coin in UNC condition. Uncirculated coins may display minor contact marks from mint production and handling.
