2001 6x Coin UNC Federation RAM Year Set - Mintage: 90,822

Product description:

Celebrate 100 years of Australian Federation with the 2001 Six Coin Uncirculated Year Set from the Royal Australian Mint. Marking the centenary of Federation from 1901 to 2001, this release features two commemorative designs: the Federation $1 coin and the Commonwealth Coat of Arms 50c coin.

The set contains six 2001-dated Australian coins in uncirculated condition: 5c, 10c, 20c, the commemorative 50c, the Federation $1 and $2. The $1 features the Centenary of Federation logo, with an outline of Australia ending at the Federation Star. All six coins carry Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.

With a recorded mintage of 90,822 sets, this release makes an appealing addition to an Australian decimal collection. Originally issued in Royal Australian Mint presentation packaging featuring Federation history and Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building, it is also a thoughtful 2001 birth-year gift.
